Meta exploit Fundementals

Exploit:- An exploit is a loophole in a system or network security that can be used by a pentester or an attacker to get  the desire result like getting inside the system by the help of payloads or without payloads. examples of exploits are sql-injection, buffer overflow etc.

Payload :- A payload is a code that is used to take advantage of the exploit. By the help of payload we can back connect the vulnerable system such as bind shell, reverse shell etc.

Shellcode:- It is a set of commands used during exploitation by the payloads. It is typically written in assembly language.

Module:- Module is a component software of the meatsploit which is used during exploitation or during information gathering.

Metasploit comes in two interfaces console, GUI and webGUI

To start console model in windows goto all program and search for metasploit console and click itwill open like this

To open in linux open terminal and write msfconsole it will display like this

to get help in msfconsole you can type help in console
